Goodies and Family

Yesterday I headed over to my parents house for what I thought was just going to be football and dinner. Sounds like a good enough bribe so I packed my dog up with me and headed over there. When I arrived I found out my mom and sisters decided to make some caramel apples!!! Y hadn't had one of those in forever!!

As we were making some of those I also got treated to a yummy cheese tray to snack on....

Now we weren't just making plain old caramel apples, we were dipping those suckers in chocolate white chocolate and candy mmmmm:)

We even ended up with extra chocolate so we decided to make chocolate bark!! Wow just too much!

After all that fun my mom and dad made us homemade fried rice and sweet and sour soup... A lot of work but omg so good!
So that was my Sunday funday family day:) love my life!

Boise State Blue

So my boyfriend plays for Boise State and last week was his last game on the home famous blue turf, he is graduation college this week (SO PROUD) and since he is a senior he got to invite people out on the turf to greet him as he ran out of the tunnell. I got to be a lucky girl and he for some reason he must really like me or something, invited me to go out on the turf with his family! Not many people get to go on the blue turf so I was extremely excited not to mention extremely nervous since thousands of people would be watching me down there.

It happened to be FREEZING the day of the game and I wanted to dress warm but cute and was nervous and jittery all day. I found a warm fuzzy BSU sweatshirt and put on my new boots and called it good. I was freezing but oh well at least I wasnt wearing a ski suit like other people I saw there.

Anyway I only have one picture of us actually out on the turf because it all happened so fast but here it is....

But I did get a couple while we were waiting for him to come out since he was the last one lol....

Next week is Christmas and BSU is going to the MAACO Bowl Game in Las Vegas which I get to go to!! Thanks mom and dad! And since my boyfriend is from Vegas I guess I am just going to stay there with his family over Christmas... VERY EXCITED but again very nervous. This is the first Christmas that I have not spent with my family. We are coming back 2 days later to celebrate with my family up at the cabin, but it just is not going to be the same:[ My mom makes the BEST christmas morning breakfast and I am going to BEG her and my sisters to save me some but I doubt that that will happen. Oh well. I basically get 2 Christmas's this year so I am one lucky girl:]

So OF COURSE, on finals week I get sick. I have absolutely no energy, feel naucious and my throat feels like someone burnt it then rubbed sand paper across the burn but only on the right side. Fun fun fun. No I am not pregnant, and I went to the doctor to make sure it was not strep or anything. The doctor said that it wasnt and it is just a viral infection and I am basically just going to have to wait for it to get better. I need lots of sleep, some meds and soup. Thanks doc for telling me exactly what is wrong... NOT. I just want to feel better but that is not look like it is going to happen anytime soon.

Anyways, since I am just suppose to relax and try and get better my life this week consisted of studying and PINTEREST. If you guys don't know about pinterest.... go find out now. Well only if you have extra time on your hands because you will probably get obsessed for a little bit. Salt lake cityyyy

So I'm in salt lake visiting my mom and doing a little shopping!!

To start this off, the reason my mom is here is because she got a new job working for the FDIC and has to do a buttload of training for the first year which also means a lot of traveling which kinda sucks but is cool at the same time because I get to come visit her!!

I got here last night and she had to work all day today which means I have to find something to do. I brought my film camera because I have a couple of projects due soon for my photography class so I'm going to brave it out and go adventure around town by myself!! Kinda scary considering a bum basically attacked us at dinner last night! But I'm a big girl and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to handle it lol.

Randomness

WARNING... this post is very random
So tomorrow Tucker, my puppy, is getting neutered in the morning. I feel pretty bad for him never getting able to experience that stuff, but it is something that needs to be done since he is half pit bull. I am spoiling him tonight even though he isn't suppose to eat past 10pm, I have defiantly given him plenty of treats. I am also going to let him sleep with me, even though he usually ends up in my bed some how. He is just so comfy to cuddle with and man he is a big cuddler.

I am watching tv and a commercial just said its going to be a "white week" that must mean its going to be snowing a lot and I am already fricken sick of winter. :/ blah & I've had a pounding headache all day, sometimes I get headaches when the weather changes though.

Anyway, we are starting to work on my disaster house tomorrow bright and early. I am going to drop Tuck off at the vet and then meet the heater guy at my house by 8am to install our new furnace!! I honestly don't know why but I get so excited about house stuff, maybe it's because my dad is an architect and I've always been kinda interested in that kind of stuff, or just because I'm a weirdo I have no clue.

Have you ever been to karmaloop.com? If you haven't..... go!! I love shopping online, I have to admit I do not purchase many items but I love "window shopping". Karmaloop has a ton of great deals on cute clothes from popular places + they always are discounting their items. Like these boots that I want really bad....If any one is feeling generous feel free to purchase them for me :] ha ya right like that will happen

WOman's Best Friend

Dogs seriously may be the happiest animals on Earth. Literally every time i look at my puppy it makes me love him more. I will be gone for 2 hours and I miss him. Sure they can be a pain in the butt and will rip up your shoes and you have to pick up their poo, but they will love you back no matter what.

Obviously I am a dog person and anyone else who is will know exactly what I am talking about. Even though sometimes I wanna punt the little minnie yapper dogs when they are yapping away. But that just be because I have grown up with big/giant dogs my entire life. I will admit some little dogs can be cute but only when they are puppies, when they grow up they are just annoying most of the time.

These are my parents three giant labs, they are literally the happiest dogs I've ever seen, maybe its because they have 3 acres to run around on in their own little pack, or a giant cabin to play at every other weekend, I'm not sure but they are always happy :]

We should all try and be more like dogs; live and love a little more.

Inner Peace & A Lot of Sweat

I am absolutely in love with HOT YOGA!! I think that it is literally the best workout you can do. Its an hour and a half in about 105 or 106 degress just sweating the entire time. The whole class, if you are as out of shape as I am, you are just praying that you wont faint. You are literally fighting with your mind to continue, but afterwards you feel amazing like you can do anything and all of your muscles are stretched out. PLUS you loose about 3 pounds just by doing the class because you sweat so damn much.

My mom is absolutely obessed with all kinds of yoga and is pretty much a workout finatic, she is the one who introduced me to hot yoga. I used to not like going with her but recently something just clicked and now I want to go everyday. That is one of my new years resolutions, is to go more regularly to hot yoga or any yoga or even work out more because believe me I have been slackingggg!!!

I think everyone should try hot yoga at least twice because believe me, you might not like it the first time. If you can just let yourself relax and actually feel your body, you will enjoy it a lot more.

Just another little thing I've found in my life :)

The start of a new year...

SOOO I have been super busy dealing with this dang flood thing lately, and I thought the world proved its point when I lost my job, car broke down, and my house flooded all in the same week, but I think it is still out to get me and I am not exactly sure why. Maybe it is just trying to get all of the bad stuff out of the way so I can have a great 2011? I have no idea, but I am sure that I have done nothing wrong lately to have deserved this.

Oh well I guess life can only go up from here, right? God I hope so I am sick of this crap. Along with everything now I think I am getting a cold. I hate to be so negative in life because I really do try and look at the positive things, but sometimes you have to just let it all out.

Okay for the positive, I did get rehired at Cool Hand Lukes, we had a little orientation thing with the new owners and I am really excited to work for them, it sounds like they know what they are doing, but I still don't know if I really will like it, I guess we will see. I work everyday this week which is a good thing for a few reasons...
1. I am broke now seeing as I had 2 weeks off
2. I am crazy bored at my parents house
3. That is a good start and I think that means that they like me already.

Good things about living at my parents house are, I do not have to buy groceries or do my own laundry. I get an amazing home cooked meal everynight and my mom is a great cook. I do not have to pay rent or utilities this month and now since I will be working a bunch I have a chance to take advantage of this and maybe boost up my savings a little (even though I have been really in the mood to shop lately :/ yikes!)
